Claire Wallace, owner of Haffas Farm, introduced my to Elvis, Clementine (“cuz she’s a darlin”) and Gladys Done. “She took so long to be birthed, and it wasn’t easy. When she finally come out I said, there now, ain’t you glad it’s done?” and that’s her name.”
